7478 collaborates with Rem Koolhaas & OMA in Europe and Middle East as well as works with Selldorf architects in North America; serving an international clientele, our work embraces a variety of project types and scales.
Alessandro De Santis studied architecture at the university of Florence in Italy where he graduated in 2004. He established 7478 in Rotterdam in 2015 after working at OMA /Rem Koolhaas from 2008 to 2015.
At OMA he has lead the design of large and complex projects, spanning from masterplans such as Endurance Village in Qatar, to museums such as National Art Museum of China, mix-use buildings such as JBR1 in Dubai, as well as theaters, residential towers, office towers, hotels, retail, sport venues, educational buildings and infrastructure.
Alessandro has also collaborated with Royal Haskoning architect & engineering in the Netherlands and Dubai. Prior to that, he collaborated with ONL [Oosterhuis_Lénárd] in the Netherlands.
Federico Pompignoli studied architecture at the Politecnico of Milan in Italy where he graduated in 2004. He joined 7478 in Rotterdam in 2019 after working at OMA /Rem Koolhaas from 2010 to 2019.
At OMA he has lead the project of the Fondazione Prada Museum Art Center in Milan; he also took part in other widely-published projects such as the Garage Museum, a space for contemporary art in Moscow and the Fondaco dei Tedeschi, an historical building renovated to a department store in Venice.
Federico has also collaborated with Marazzi Architetti in Italy, where he led a variety of projects across Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Prior to that, he collaborated with Guido Canali Associati in Italy.
