Alessandro De Santis studied architecture at the university of Florence in Italy where he graduated in 2004.He estabilished 7478 in Rotterdam in 2015 after working at OMA /Rem Koolhaas from 2008 to 2015.
At OMA he has lead the design of large and complex project, spanning from masterplans to museums, theatres, mix-use buildings, residential towers, office towers, hotels, retail, sport venues, educational buildings, infrastructure, bridges.
Alessandro has also collaborated with Royal Haskoning architect & engineering in Amsterdam and Dubai as well as with ONL [Oosterhuis_Lénárd} in Rotterdam.
He has been visiting professor at TU Delft and has lectured at University of Amsterdam, the American University of Sharjah, Florence Design Academy and the Luiss University in Rome.
Graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan in 2003, Federico Pompignoli joined 7478 as partner in 2019.
He has worked at OMA /Rem Koolhaas form 2009 as project architect of the Fonazione Prada Museum Art Center in Milan.
At OMA, Federico took part in other widely-published projects such as the Garage in Moscow a museum of contemporary art completed in 2015 and the Fondacio dei Tedeschi in Venice inaugurated in 2016, which is an historical building renovated to a hybrid of retail and cultural programs.
Before working at OMA, Federico was a partner of Marazzi Architetti in Italy, where he led a variety of projects across Europe, Middle East and Asia. Prior to that, he collaborated with Guido Canali Associati.
Federico lectured at the Politecnico di Milano, Accademia di Mendrisio (Switzerland) and the School of Architecture SUPSI in Lugano (Switzerland).
